Here's a recent LED lighting design for a remote shooting club in Quilpie, QLD.
In the heart of Quilpie, the local Sporting Clays Club faced a significant challenge as the sun set. Their existing halogen lights on a 10-metre pole were insufficient for night shooting events, forcing the club to resort to cumbersome mobile generator lights.
This was far from ideal for their passionate members who enjoyed shooting under the stars.
The club needed a robust lighting solution to illuminate their 40m x 20m shooting area. They sought not only enhanced visibility but also a setup that would secure a grant for the necessary upgrades. Open to structural enhancements like adding extra stays to their power poles, the club was ready for a change.
The Luminetic Solution and Outcome
Luminetic proposed three HMX-600-60 LED fittings to provide powerful, energy-efficient lighting. This solution ensured optimal visibility and significantly reduced the need for supplementary mobile generator lights.
The tailored approach, considering the height of the poles and required illumination area, resulted in a high-performance lighting setup that met the club's specific needs and enhanced the overall shooting experience.
